What OCE does

Fiscal hosting, shared funds and grant administration.

OCE supports activities that benefit communities and the public. Its work takes three connected forms.

Hosting collectives

Groups without a separate legal organisation can apply to work within OCE’s hosting framework. Their administrators lead the activities and approve expenses. OCE administers the funds and processes eligible, documented payments.

Supporting networks

Several initiatives can work within a shared framework while keeping distinct project pages and budgets. Read about networks and shared structures.

Administering philanthropic funds

OCE works with philanthropic institutions to administer funds and grants. This includes checking documentation, recording allocations and following the reporting arrangements for each programme. Regranting means distributing funding onward to other initiatives.

The Global Statelessness Fund is one example. Each programme has its own purpose and conditions; its existence does not mean that applications are always open.
