# Tax-Deductible Giving for U.S. Donors

### For U.S.-Based Donors Only

Open Collective Europe (OCE) partners with Myriad USA, a U.S.-based intermediary that enables American donors and foundations to support international initiatives while receiving U.S. tax deductions.

Thanks to this partnership, donations from U.S.-based individuals and foundations to eligible initiatives hosted by OCE can be tax-deductible.

What this means

* Individual U.S. donors can receive tax receipts via Myriad USA for their contributions.
* U.S. foundations and grantmakers can support hosted initiatives through a trusted and compliant channel, without requiring their own Equivalency Determination (ED) process.
* This benefit applies only to donors based in the United States.

**Important Notes**

* We do not offer tax deductibility for donations made from within Europe or other regions at this time.
* Hosted initiatives may mention this feature in their international fundraising campaigns targeted at U.S.-based supporters.
* For one time important donation, please follow the instructions [here](https://myriadusa.org/waystogive/) with the reference American Friends of Open Collective Europe and the name of the project.
