# Ask about cryptocurrency donations

Arrange an eligible route before a donation is sent.

OCE’s published guidance describes a route through Every.org and Myriad USA for eligible initiatives. Cryptocurrency is converted before funds are allocated to the collective; OCE does not distribute cryptocurrency directly.

## Check eligibility and timing first

Contact OCE with your collective’s link and the intended donation. The team needs to confirm the current eligibility conditions, documents, receiving route and transfer timetable.

Do not create a wallet or give cryptocurrency transfer instructions on OCE’s behalf. Do not rely on an old minimum balance or transfer calendar without confirmation for the current arrangement.

## After setup

Use only the instructions confirmed for the initiative. Keep the donation and payout references so the converted funds can be matched to the collective’s budget.
