# Prepare your application

A short checklist to help you describe your collective.

You can prepare these details before opening the application form. Use everyday language and include what you know. If something is not yet decided, say so.

## About your group

* The collective’s name and where it works.
* A contact person and email address.
* A short description of your activities and who they benefit.
* How long you have been active.
* Your website, social links or existing Open Collective page, if you have them.

## About your plans

* What you want to do next.
* How your work connects with [OCE’s mission](/oceurope/mission-vision-and-impact-areas.md).
* Who will actively administer the collective. We normally require two active administrators. If you run the project alone, explain how it will continue if you are unavailable and discuss an exception with OCE; see the [administrator requirements](/oceurope/getting-started/eligibility.md#how-many-administrators-do-we-need).
* What funding you already have, what you hope to receive and from whom.

## Before you submit

Check that the contact email is correct and that your links work. Keep personal documents out of public descriptions. If a question raises a safety or privacy concern, ask OCE how to provide the information.
